New PIXI skincare from Target

Y’all know Caroline Hirons, right? If you don’t, go to her blog right now. She is THE skincare guru and recently collaborated with one of my fav brands, Pixi, to create a duo cleanser. It took me a minute to realize this but as soon as I knew, I ran to target to grab it and got the last one. Turns out I’m all about Pixi skincare.

While I was there I also picked up the 24K Eye Elixir and the Glow Peel Pads, both from Pixi too. It was ironic because I was literally talking about how I wanted a glycolic peel and an eye cream before heading to Target and lo and behold there they were right under the Duo Cleanser by Caroline Hirons. Pixi Skincare | Moddie BlogPixi Skincare | Moddie BlogI’ve been using these products for over a week now and am SERIOUSLY loving them so far. My skin is more glowy and clean-looking despite me still having some hormonal breakouts (yeaaaa being a girl!). I think most of this is due to the Glow Peel Pads that exfoliate your skin with 20% glycolic acid (promotes cell turnover) and moisturizes with aloe vera and vitamin e. Guys, I swear this is working SO well. I’ve been using it every night, but think I’m going to start using it twice a week because it does sting a little (wah) and I think I may be using it a bit excessively. I was starting to complain about my forehead looking haggard (I raise my eyebrows every second of every day) but I’m ALREADY feeling better about it! Hahah. Thank you, glow peel pads.

I love the Duo cleanser too- it was formulated to have no real scent and is a great cleanser for almost any skin type. Caroline Hirons knows what she’s doing and she’s a great listener to her audience, and this cleanser definitely shows that. You cleanse first with the solid cleansing oil side and then go in again with the cream to make sure your face is extra clean and dewy.

Pixi Skincare | Moddie BlogI’m undecided so far on the 24K Eye Elixir (made with gold) that is supposed to reduce puffiness. I guess my eyes aren’t that puffy to begin with, so maybe I should wait until I pass judgment. But it’s always nice to have an eye serum in the mix.

VERY happy so far with the Pixi skincare line.
