gift guide, Holiday

It’s time to shop for your closest girlfriends as we get closer to the holidays! Eee what do you get the girl who lets you cry in her lap, who will eat queso with you any day of the week, who yes of course wants to watch Arthur Christmas with you multiple times a year? I have some ideas…

Prepare for your holiday gift guides: gal pal edition!

1. Kate Spade Lunch Box  2. Wick Trimmer 3. Mittens 4. Glossier Mask Duo 5. My Billie Razor Kit 6. Lotto Love Scratch Card 7. Stranger Things Season 1 8. Passport Holder 9. Cactus Planner 10. Nose Contour Kit

Everyone needs a lunch box because you never know when you’re going to start trying to be healthy (#2018) and bring your lunch to work every day. Inspire your girlfriends to save money and give em’ the cutest Kate Spade lunch box so they’ll be excited every Sunday night during food prep!

We all love candles, so why not go above and beyond and help your girl out with a wick trimmer. These are extravagant, but definitely worth it so your nice candles don’t turn black and your wick stays trim. (Also not very expensive, but not something you readily go buy yourself). On the subject of other things we don’t buy ourselves but know we all want— mittens. Do I need to say more? We only use them once every few years but when we need em’ we don’t buy them. Get your girlfriend some mittens so she can drag them out and be proud while keeping her fingers warm and toasty.

Give the gift of Glossier this season— I sound like an ad. I’m a Glossier rep and honestly Glossier has been one of my favorite (brand) things of 2017. Everything is SO good. I love the cloud paint, the boy brow, the priming moisturizer rich… literally everything is great. AND you can get it 20% off if you use my link here. Christmas for both of us.

OKAY this is really cool. I just ordered one for myself, and maybe it’s a weird gift to get your girls, but they’ll probably be excited too. My Billie is a monthly razor subscription service that sends you razor heads depending on how often you shave (more if you shave every day, less if you shave a few times a week, etc). They also have shaving cream and body lotion you can throw into the subscription! $9!

For your charitable girlfriend who doesn’t really want gifts this year but still needs to be celebrated— get her a lotto love scratch off card. The winning prize of each card is one of our four basic needs gifts: literacy tools, clean water, nutritious meals or solar energy to give to those in need. Giving key necklaces are also very thoughtful gifts that she can use and then pass on to whoever she feels needs it next.

Buying DVDs may be sooo off trend, but let me tell you during Hurricane Harvey we needed those suckers, so they’re back on the gift guide for 2017. Stranger Things Season 1 comes as a VHS which is basically the best marketing I’ve ever seen. You could also get her an iTunes gift card to buy her favorite movie in order to watch again and again if you’re more tech-y.

For the girl who loves to travel, a passport holder is always a good idea. Bando has some cute ones here. To plan all her travels and weekly things, this cactus planner is the cutest and the store where it’s from, Burro Goods, has a ton of other amazing stocking stuffers to check out.

Lastly, for the beauty guru in the crew: a nose contour kit. Because we’ve all wanted to try it and didn’t have the balls.
